If you love playing competitive basketball and are dedicated to making your game the best it can be, come to Southeast Idaho Hoops Academy. We use learning and training techniques designed to help you surpass your limits and increase your skills in every area.

Currently the teams at our academy range from 5th-8th grade. Each team plays competitively in leagues and tournaments. During your time with us you will receive intensive training that goes beyond what you would normally receive in school or other leagues. Athletes are required to try out for a team and commit to a certain length of time. All of this will be explained to parents, who will sign a contract with us.

Southeast Idaho Hoops Academy is ready to help give your child that competitive edge. Give us a call today and we'll be happy to answer any of your questions.

Academy Purpose: To help players develop a higher level of basketball and athletic skills than they would get in recreational leagues. Players on these teams are committed to developing their skills in order to play competitively. Teams will participate in local and/or out of state leagues and tournaments.

Our Coaching Philosophy: At Southeast Idaho Hoops Academy, we believe that all athletes are an important part of the team. We teach the "Read and React" offensive scheme. This system teaches players to read the defense and react accordingly. We do not just teach them one or two plays to run the entire game. This allows each athlete to touch the ball and be involved in all aspects of the offense. This will make them much better basketball players in the long run.

Academy Team Structure:

  • Teams for boys and girls 5th - 8th grade
  • Kids must try out for teams. Team tryouts will be held in September/October each year.
  • Parents and players must commit to the entire season and sign a contract. Monthly fees include team practices and training sessions.
  • Each player will attend two hours of training classes and 2 hours of practice per week.
  • Parents and players are responsible for practice jerseys, tournament fees, league fees, camps, travel expenses, etc.

Academy Team Pricing: Team players are required to take at least 2 hours of training per week in addition to 2 hours of team practice time. Fees are based on the payment plan and number of training hours selected.
